Mo Yanqun attributes her success to two mentors: 1. Mr. Yang Shufa, her Tai Chi启蒙 teacher, who guided her into the world of Tai Chi with meticulous instruction. 2. Master Li Guoqiang, an internationally renowned martial arts expert, under whom she became: 7th-generation inheritor of Yang-style Tai Chi  、8th-generation inheritor of Funei-style Tai Chi、16th-generation inheritor of Wudang Sanfeng Natural School、3rd-generation inheritor of Song-style Wudang Quan.She has mastered Wudang Tai Chi Sword 63 Forms, Tai Chi Ball Techniques, 36-Form Tai Chi Broadsword, Guiyuan Gong, 24-Form Simplified Tai Chi, Tai Chi Fan, Chen-style 24 Forms, and Taiyi Youlong Quan.

在2021年深港澳精英赛中荣获金奖

2024年，7月参加中国武术联合会指导举办的广州太极拳交流大赛，武当63式太极剑一等奖，并被李正、马春喜、刘善民、杨志芳、李国强等大师联名推荐，获得“太极名家”称号。

2024年11月在“国强杯”香港国际武术太极拳网络大赛，陈式24式太极拳、武当太极剑63式，三十六式太极刀、简化24式太极拳，均荣获一等奖，并荣获“国际武术精英”“国际武术优秀传承人”和“国际武术优秀教练”称号。
Under Master Li’s expert guidance, Mo Yanqun’s skills flourished. She has won numerous accolades at domestic and international competitions:

- 2021: Gold Medal at the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Elite Competition

- July 2024: First Prize in Wudang 63-Form Tai Chi Sword at the Guangzhou Tai Chi Exchange Competition (hosted by the Chinese Martial Arts Federation). Recognized as a "Tai Chi Master" by luminaries including Li Zheng, Ma Chunxi, Liu Shanmin, Yang Zhifang, and Li Guoqiang.

- November 2024: At the "Guoqiang Cup" Hong Kong International Martial Arts Tai Chi Online Competition, she swept First Prizes in Chen-style 24-Form Tai Chi, Wudang 63-Form Tai Chi Sword, 36-Form Tai Chi Broadsword, and 24-Form Simplified Tai Chi, while earning titles of "International Martial Arts Elite," "Outstanding Global Inheritor," and "Outstanding International Coach."

        莫燕群以武为媒，常年在迪拜年传播中华武术文化，将中华武术文化的精髓传播给迪拜当地的民众。多次被中东海湾及多家媒体的报道，报道莫燕群个人传播中国武术文化事迹。

   2018年迪拜王子哈姆丹发起一年一度全民健身挑战月活动，莫燕群应邀成为此活动的太极教练，是此次活动中唯一的一个中国教练，从2018年开始到2024年连续5年担任此职位，在迪拜海滩进行公益性太极拳教学，向迪拜民众传递中华武术魅力。

    - October 2024: Demonstrated Wudang 63-Form Tai Chi Sword (created by Master Li Guoqiang) with her disciple Mo Dalong at the 75th Chinese National Day and 40th China-UAE Diplomatic Anniversary Celebration.
